Dear Members of the Committee of SPEC 2022,

this paper presents a new control approach for a novel type of transverse flux machine with spatially distributed phases. Based on an implemented dynamic model the control strategy allows to reduce the impact of mechanical backlash on the output performance regarding ripple and precision.
